Mrs. Danielle Yvonne Schwaar

Present occupation and position:
Director & Co-Founder Preema International (Thailand) Co., Ltd. - an international consulting company

- Business Administration studies at University of Bern, Switzerland

Other experience, skills, and interests:
More than 20 years of international banking experience at various financial institutions in Thailand and Switzerland. While working in Bangkok, I was the Chief Representative of the 5th largest German Bank, focusing on corporate finance, project finance, debt restructuring, correspondence banking. In Switzerland, I was working mainly in Private Banking for Southeast Asian clients and Family Office services.

I speak German, French, English, basic Italian, basic Thai. I was born in Bangkok.
I am interested in international politics, history, cultural diversity and am a happy mother of a 6 year old daughter, trying to navigate her thru her life in an open and happy way.

Mr. Brian Mark Blugerman

Present occupation and position:
Corporate Lawyer. I have extensive practice experience at leading international law firms and am qualified as a lawyer in Canada, the U.K. and Bermuda.

Other experience, skills, and interests:
I continue my interest and research in philosophy, including Buddhist and Hindu philosophy. As well, I am a musician. I have performed as a professional pianist and guitarist across the U.S. and Canada. I continue to play those instruments and have also learned to play the guqin, the ancient Chinese 7-stringed zither.

I am interested in cross-cultural communication, travelling, photographing, arts & crafts. I speak 3 languages; Thai, English and Japanese.

Other experience, skills, and interests:
My interest in arts was established early in life, as a young ballet student who performed at the National Theatre of Thailand. More recently, I held the position of Executive Director at International Cultural Promotions. My interest in cultures and history was able to expand quickly once I applied for Membership of the Siam Society in 1995, followed by Lifetime Membership in 1997. Another area of interest is health and wellness.

The book editing projects that I now undertake tend to reflect my appreciation of Thai cultural heritage. In 2016 I also undertook the work of proofreading "Sombat Sayam", the Siam Society publication.

I have broad business experience in the sectors of hospitality and banking, and the early years of my career include stints at British Airways and Merrill Lynch.
